Just Add Chef has been satisfying the needs of Austin’s Mobile Food Vendors since the 2000.
We are a great resource to both the start-up and established mobile vendor.
We are always available to answer questions, and to point you in the right direction.
Our goal is to keep as much money in your pocket as possible during your start-up, and while you are getting set up with Just Add Chef. There is never a charge for our start-up services!
The following links will take you to the applications that may be necessary for you to obtain before getting started:
Permit to Operate a Food Enterprise
(required for ALL Restricted Mobile Vendors and those Unrestricted Mobile Vendors needing to prepare food at Just Add Chef)
(These two applications must be submitted at the same time to obtain a Permit to operate a Food Enterprise. This Permit is specific to Just Add Chef, and is non-transferable.)
Food Manager Certification
(at least one employee of the Food Enterprise must be certified as a Food Manager)
Food Handler Certification
(all other employees of the Food Enterprise must be certified as a Food Handler)
