Just Add Chef has been satisfying the needs of Austin’s Caterers since 2000.

We are a great resource to both the start-up and established caterer.
We are always available to answer questions and point you in the right direction.

Our goal is to keep as much money in your pocket as possible during the start-up process. There is never a charge for our start-up services!  

The following links will take you to the applications that may be necessary for you to obtain before getting started:

 Permit to Operate a Food Enterprise

(These two applications must be submitted at the same time to obtain a Permit to operate a Food Enterprise. This Permit is specific to Just Add Chef, and is non-transferable.)

Food Enterprise Change of Ownership Inspection Request

Food Enterprise: Operational Permit Application

Food Manager Certification

(at least one employee of the Food Enterprise must be certified as a Food Manager)

Food Manager Registration – Initial & Replacement

Certification can be obtained by passing a Department of State Health Services (DSHS) approved certified food manager examination.

Food Handler Certification

(all other employees of the Food Enterprise must be certified as a Food Handler)
